Airing every Tuesday on BTS’s official YouTube channel, Run Seokjin follows Jin as he fearlessly takes on various challenges. Kicking off with a hike up Hallasan just five days after completing his military service in June last year, Jin has since tackled intense content such as coast guard training, haunted house visits, UFC training, gymnastics, and fencing. As of April 29, the series has aired 32 episodes, with a cumulative view count of approximately 77.7 million.
A key highlight of the show is its impressive guest lineup. Celebrities across diverse fields—idols, actors, comedians, athletes, and YouTubers—have appeared, showcasing Jin’s extensive network and warm personality. Notably, he shared a Korean sauna experience with actor-director Yutaka Matsushige, known for the Japanese drama Solitary Gourmet, and reunited with his Zombieverse co-stars Kian84 and Ji Yae-eun.

Jin also shone in Netflix’s variety show Zombieverse, where he earned praise for his adaptability, sincerity, and upbeat attitude. His down-to-earth demeanor left a strong impression not only on fans but also on the general public. According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex, Jin ranked No. 1 in non-drama TV/OTT performer buzz during the third week of April.
In contrast to his polished stage persona, Jin has captivated audiences with his candid and humorous side in Run Seokjin. Whether using clever tricks during games or revealing his goofy, relatable nature, Jin continues to entertain. Some guests even coined the phrase “Jin-myeodeulda” (a Korean pun meaning “falling for Jin”) after experiencing his irresistible charm.
Jin’s passion also extends to his music career. On May 16, he will release his second mini album, Echo. Featuring seven tracks that reflect life’s many “echoes,” the album includes songs like “Nothing Without Your Love,” “Loser” (feat. YENA), “Rope It,” and “A Journey with the Clouds,” with Jin participating in writing the lyrics for most of the tracks. The title track, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” explores the painful irony of holding on to love even as a relationship falls apart.
Jin will also hold his first solo fan concert, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, on June 28–29 at Goyang Sports Complex in Korea. The tour will span 18 shows across countries including Japan, the U.S., the U.K., and the Netherlands.

Most recently, on April 25, Jin made a surprise appearance during Coldplay’s final Korean concert at the same venue. Reuniting with Chris Martin after their earlier performance on April 19, he sang their collaboration “My Universe” and his solo debut “The Astronaut,” thrilling the crowd with his emotional performance.
With a strong presence in both music and variety entertainment, Jin continues to expand his reach—not only as a world-class artist but also as the warm and relatable Kim Seokjin.
