Red Velvet’s Yeri Signs with Blitzway Entertainment, Begins New Chapter as Actress Kim Ye-rim

Red Velvet’s Yeri, now promoting as actress Kim Ye-rim, has signed an exclusive contract with Blitzway Entertainment, joining a roster that includes Ju Ji-hoon, Chun Woo-hee, and Moon Chae-won.

Blitzway Entertainment stated on May 1, “We’re excited to support Kim Ye-rim as she expands her career. Her global experience will help her grow into a versatile actress.” Along with the announcement, new profile photos showcasing her poised, mysterious charm were revealed.

Kim debuted in 2014 with Red Velvet and gained global popularity with hits like “Red Flavor” and “Psycho.” She has since built a solid acting portfolio with Blue Birthday, Galcha, and Netflix’s Cheongdam International High School, where her performance as “Baek Je-na” earned strong praise and led to a confirmed second season.

Though she ended her contract with SM Entertainment in April, Kim Ye-rim will continue Red Velvet group activities while pursuing acting under her new agency.
