During his service, Lee achieved major milestones, including earning the title of a “Ten-million actor” as Exhuma attracted over 11.91 million moviegoers. The film also earned him an award in the New Actor in Film category at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards. During his acceptance speech, he addressed his girlfriend, actress Lim Ji-yeon, saying, “Thank you, Ji-yeon,” a moment that drew considerable public attention. The couple reportedly began dating before Lee’s enlistment and continues their relationship.

Following his discharge, Lee is expected to resume acting activities without delay. He is currently reviewing an offer for a new project by the renowned Hong sisters, which also stars actress Go Min-si.
