Lee Soo-man Reunites with SM Artists at ‘King of K-Pop’ Premiere in Hollywood

Former SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo-man reunited with Super Junior’s Choi Si-won, SHINee’s Taemin, and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Sunny at the Hollywood premiere of his documentary ‘Lee Soo Man: King of K-Pop’ on May 12. The event, held at NeueHouse Hollywood, drew over 300 industry figures, including top songwriters Dem Jointz, Ferris, and Tone Stith.

Lee expressed gratitude to his former artists, referring to them as “more like family than protégés” and acknowledged his collaborators Kenzi and Yoo Young-jin. Hyoyeon performed a DJ set, while A2O’s rookie groups A2O LTB and A2O LTG introduced themselves on stage.

The documentary, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, chronicles Lee’s rise as a K-pop pioneer and his role in developing major acts like H.O.T., TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, and EXO. Media outlets like Forbes have called it “a captivating exploration of a K-pop legend’s legacy.”
