IU to Make a Comeback in May with Cha Eun-woo’s MV Appearance

Singer IU is set to return to her music career this month, marking her first comeback in over a year. According to her agency, EDAM Entertainment, IU recently filmed a music video for her new song on the 6th, with Cha Eun-woo making a surprise cameo appearance. The collaboration reportedly came about at IU’s request, raising anticipation for their visual chemistry on screen.

The upcoming release will be IU’s first since her mini-album The Winning, which was unveiled in February last year. Fans are eager to see how the singer’s signature emotional style will blend with Cha Eun-woo’s visual impact in the new music video.

Meanwhile, IU has been active in acting, taking on dual roles as Ae-soon and Geum-myung in the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines.

Cha Eun-woo, currently filming for Netflix’s The Wonder Fools, is also preparing for ASTRO’s fourth solo concert, scheduled for June at Inspire Arena in Incheon. With both IU and Cha Eun-woo actively expanding their careers in both music and acting, their on-screen reunion in the upcoming MV is highly anticipated.
