Why RIIZE Chose ‘Odyssey’ as Track One on Their First Full Album

A fearless start to a new chapter, filled with excitement—not nerves

RIIZE (SM Entertainment) is set to release their first full-length album ODYSSEY on May 19, and its opening track, “Odyssey,” perfectly captures the group’s bold attitude as they begin a new chapter in their career.

With cosmic synths and UK garage rhythms, “Odyssey” reflects the members’ commitment to move forward without fear—trusting one another and embracing new beginnings with anticipation. “It’s a song that fits any starting point,” the group shared. “We hope it brings excitement to our fans, not anxiety, whenever they begin something new.”

The album includes 10 tracks, including the title song “Fly Up,” showcasing RIIZE’s nonstop growth. Ahead of the release, the group will premiere videos for all tracks—first online via Weverse on May 14, then in theaters across Korea, China, Japan, and Thailand starting May 15.

ODYSSEY will be available on all major music platforms from May 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
