OH MY GIRL’s sister group channels confidence, speed, and strength in bold first release

Rookie girl group USPEER, launched by WM Entertainment for the first time in nearly a decade since OH MY GIRL, officially debuted today (June 4) with their first single album ‘SPEED ZONE’. Comprised of seven members, Yeowon, Soi, Sian, Seoyou, Daon, Chaena, and Roa, USPEER introduces a fresh energy and athletic edge to the K-pop scene.

The title track “ZOOM” is an electro-hip-hop number featuring dynamic beats, fast-paced synth bass, confident rap, and powerful vocals. Its catchy, chant-like chorus and thunderous drums create an addictive and high-impact sound. The track captures the group’s message of charging forward at their own speed.

Alongside “ZOOM,” the album includes the track “Telepathy”, a vibrant blend of UK garage rhythms and R&B flair. The song highlights USPEER’s emotional connection and unity with lyrics that suggest: “If we’re together, we fear no limits.” The album was produced in part by renowned team Monotree, adding polish to their debut.

During their showcase at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, the members emphasized their diverse strengths. Sian said she hoped to earn the title “all-rounder idol”, while Yeowon, referred to as the team’s “captain,” highlighted her 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo and the group’s overall athleticism. Members also shared backgrounds in sports like tennis, volleyball, and even baseball pitching.

USPEER’s team name is a blend of “US” and “SPEER” (to ask or question), symbolizing their mission to understand the world together and create a better future. With their confident debut, dynamic concept, and strong message, USPEER sets out to make their mark—not just as idols, but as a force of positivity and purpose.
