BTS’s Jin Returns to The Tonight Show with Charisma and New Music, Gears Up for Global Solo Tour

BTS member Jin made a highly anticipated appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 21 (ET), marking his return to the program after six months. Blending humor with heartfelt music, Jin charmed both the studio and global audiences.

During the show, host Jimmy Fallon greeted him with a warm “Welcome back,” and the two discussed Jin’s recent projects, including his variety show Run Seokjin and his meeting with actor Tom Cruise. Fallon even handed over the hosting role to Jin for a playful segment, to which Jin joked, “Thank you for coming to my show,” drawing laughter with his quick wit and impromptu riddles.

Jin also gave a live performance of “Don’t Say You Love Me,” the title track from his solo album Echo. The set featured a cozy bed stage, and his smooth vocals combined with a live band created an emotionally rich performance that resonated with fans.

The day before the show, Jin lit up New York’s Empire State Building in Echo’s signature colors. He is also scheduled to host a fan event titled 'Hi-Seokjin' in New York on May 22.

Jin’s first-ever solo fan concert tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, will begin on June 28–29 in Goyang, Korea, followed by stops in Japan (Chiba, Osaka), the U.S. (Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark), the UK (London), and the Netherlands (Amsterdam), with 18 shows across 9 cities worldwide.
